We are hiring people who like talking to people.

For every business you sign up, you earn a commission of up to four months of that client's revenue — with no cap on how many, and nothing ever clawed back. We hand you a researched phone list to start on, and every small business in your own town is fair game on top of it. The preview you offer them is free; the website is not, and you earn a commission when a business you referred signs up.

This role is 100% remote — no office, no commute, and you can work from anywhere in the US.

PageTend builds and manages websites for small businesses — roofing and HVAC contractors, shops, restaurants, clinics, studios — from $99 a month, no design fee, no contract. Before anyone pays us a dollar, we build them a real, complete preview of what their new site would look like, free, with no obligation. Most owners have never seen anything like it, and once they see it, they usually say yes.

Your job is to get that free preview in front of business owners — and to tell them plainly what it costs if they want it, so nobody is surprised later. You are not closing them or pressuring them; you are getting them to say "sure, build me one and let me see it."

What we give you

• A researched list of contractors to call, with phone numbers, so you are never staring at an empty day.
• And your own town on top of it. Any small business you can phone or walk into counts — the dentist, the café, the landscaper, the body shop, the florist.
• A script and the answers to the objections you'll hear, so your first call sounds like your fiftieth.
• The preview itself — we build it, we email it. You never touch a website.

What you'll do

• Call small business owners and offer a free, no-obligation preview of a new website. Contractors answer early and late — roughly 8-9am and 4-6pm local time — which is part of why this works as a side income.
• When they say yes, fill out the short form on our site for them right there on the call, with your name on it so you get credit.
• We build the preview and email it within a few days. You follow up to see what they think.
• When they decide to go ahead, you stay on the account for a couple of weeks to collect the photos, hours and wording changes we need to finish their site. That is what your second commission installment is for.
• No quoting, no contracts, no haggling over price — it is published and fixed.

Pay

You earn a commission on every business you refer that signs up and pays: up to four months of that client's revenue. Where you land within that depends on factors such as how many businesses you bring in, and your rate is set out in the agreement you sign before you start.

Paid in two installments: the first as soon as their first payment clears, and the rest once they have stayed on as a customer for four months. Once you have earned an installment it is yours; we never claw back a payment you have already received. There is no cap on how many businesses you can refer.

This is a 1099 independent-contractor role. You set your own hours. We are not your employer and do not withhold taxes, and there are no benefits.

What we're looking for

• Based in the US and 18 or older. You will be calling US contractors, this is a 1099 role under US tax rules, and the contractor agreement has to be signed by an adult.
• Comfortable picking up the phone and talking to strangers. That is really the core skill.
• Able to work at least some of the 8-9am or 4-6pm local windows when contractors actually answer. Any US time zone is fine.
• Self-motivated — nobody is watching a clock, you get paid for results.
• Prior sales, telemarketing or customer-facing experience is a plus but not required.
• A quiet place to call from and a phone you are happy to make outbound calls on.
