Client story · Tuition center · Singapore

A site Google could barely read, rebuilt in two languages.

Future Envision has taught IB and Pre-IB English in Singapore since 2014. Their old site looked fine in a browser, but search engines saw almost nothing on it.

The story

Where they started, what we built, how it runs now.

  1. Where they started

The old site drew every word with JavaScript after the page loaded, so search engines found nearly empty pages. Every page had the same title, "Future Envision", and none had a description. Some course pages still carried placeholder text from the old system.

  2. What we built

Every page moved over in English and Chinese: 32 pages, 64 addresses in Google's sitemap, each with its own title and description. Their brand purple and gold, their photos and their course list came with them; the leftover placeholder text and the typos did not.

  3. How it runs now

When a class or a date changes, they email us, photos attached, and we make the change in both languages.

On a phone

Every course page, on a phone.

The English and Chinese switch sits at the top of every page, and every course page reads cleanly on a small screen.

  • The ability to send an email with images attached to make a website change is such a lifesaver for us! We do not have any technical staff or anyone who understands HTML/SEO/etc, this process has completely freed us and allowed us to focus on what we do best. Thanks PageTend!
