How much does a small business website cost?
Anywhere from a few hundred dollars to $20,000 or more. The build price is the smaller part. Here's what each option really costs over three years.

Anywhere from a few hundred dollars to $20,000 or more. The build price is the smaller part. Count three years, not day one.
Your four options
- Do it yourself. A website builder costs about $20–$50 a month. Cheap in cash, expensive in evenings.
- Freelancer. Often $1,000–$5,000 to build. Every change after that is billed again.
- Agency. Often $5,000–$20,000 or more, then a monthly retainer.
- Fully managed. One monthly price covers the build, hosting and changes.
