I grew up in Beijing, and I was on track to become an English teacher there. Instead I came to the United States to study computer science, and I've been building software ever since. I earned a master's in computer science and an MBA, and I've been writing code for 30 years.
AI is the newest thing that keeps me up at night, in a good way. PageTend is built with it: software does the busywork of a website, so a small business owner can send one email and get on with their day. A person still checks the work, and a person still answers when you write.
When I'm not building, I'm traveling with a camera. Photography taught me that people judge a business in the first few seconds, and that is the standard I hold every site we make to.
